Husband can't find work, he's on that 3rd tier of UE that he has to make one contact a day for jobs, for the last MONTH and a HALF, and not been paid.

Our cable will be shut off tomorrow.

Electric will be shut off the end of the month.

Cell phones are on borrowed time too, so the only contact # left is my work # which has no caller id.

Oh and yeah, when the cable goes, we lose our phone and my job

I have student loan people thinking they can collect from us.

He's also got a student loan, which we are supposedly paying monthly on... only it bounced this month.


I'm just crying all the time, and no ideas of where to go.


Busted my ass last month to pay the bills I take care of, and get us a little food

Call the power company ASAP and ask about EAP (Energy Assistance Program) resources in your area, you'll avoid disconnection if you go file for help now.

Time to find the food pantries too. That helps a suprising amount, just having food to eat.

Apply for welfare now too...probably called TANF or something now. You may get food stamps and even cash assistance. It is a pain in the ass, but when the stamps mean you eat ...

One more - you're almost certainly eligable for deferments on all the student loans due to economic hardship. If you get food stamps you're 100% elegible, also if income is below a certain point. That's a 6 month reprieve too.

it's partially I use the computer for *everything* and internet is so wired in right now, that it's gonna be a hardship to be w/o. plus, I won't be able to work.
